Zest Dance is a professionally run dance school based in Stratford-upon-Avon and Alveston. We offer classes in many subjects for children from age 2.5+.

Students will be given the oppourtunity to perform in our bi-annual shows and take examinations with the IDTA across many genres.

We believe that children should be given the oppourtunity to express themselves within a safe, relaxed and fun environment.

Here at Zest Dance, we take pride in the quality of our dance tuition. All teachers are highly qualified and experienced in the dance styles. All staff hold DBS checks, first aid certificates and we are fully insured.

Private lessons in all genres are available on request.

Frankie Smith

Principal, L.I.D.T.A

Frankie started dancing at the tender age of 3 and always knew that she wanted to be a dance teacher. She holds teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Gymnastics Dance, Freestyle and Musical Theatre and is a Licentiate Member of the IDTA. She also holds a FHEQ Level 5 in Dance Education from the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance). She has over 6 years experience of teaching in schools, nurseries, dance schools and performing arts academies.

Upon finishing school Frankie embarked on the BTEC Musical Theatre course at Stratford-upon-Avon College before moving to Guildford to train at the Performance Preparation Academy in Musical Theatre.

She has performed in musicals such as Legally Blonde, Singing in the Rain, Anything Goes as well as many other performances over the years.

Since moving back to the area Frankie has choreographed for local theatre productions including Gypsy and Oliver! (Loft Theatre Company), Beauty and the
Beast, Annie, The Lazy Ace and Madagascar (PQA Warwick), Beauty and the Beast (Spa Juniors).
