Jaykays Dance Company is a well established dance school based in Leamington Spa offering classes in ballet, tap, modern jazz, freestyle, gymnastics and musical theatre. We are a friendly school where our main emphasis is on having fun whilst learning dance steps and developing technique. We offer students many opportunities to perform in shows and events and to take graded exams. The Jaykays teaching team can also be found in local schools and nurseries delivering after school clubs and pre-school classes. They are also fantastic dance party hosts for our Party Movers dance parties and lead holiday clubs and dance bootcamps. We are particularly proud of our Little Rascals preschool dance classes which make up a huge part of the school.

Jeren founded Jaykays Dance
Company in 2006 with the hope of offering Leamington Spa fun
and new dance classes! As a student Jeren attended the Christine
Anderson Theatre School where she gained her student
examinations with the IDTA and RAD. Jeren had some wonderful
opportunities at CATS competing in local competitions,
performing on many West End stages and dancing in Disney
Florida and California. She went on to study Communication
Studies at Nottingham Trent University for three years and
continued with dance as a hobby. It wasn't until she had finished
travelling around the world after graduating that she decided to
follow her true passion of dance. Jeren then gained her IDTA
Teaching Associates, launched Jaykays Dance Company and has
spent the past ten years building the school up as well as having
two children along the way!Elizabeth Jelley, AIDTAPrincipal TeacherHaving danced from an early age and competing in many local competitions Elizabeth joined Pattisons Theatre Arts at 16 where she trained for three years as a professional dancer and singer. Whilst at Pattisons she achieved her IDTA teaching qualifications in ballet, tap, modern, freestyle and theatrecraft. On leaving college Elizabeth had the opportunity to tour Europe and America with Bob the Builder Live where she starred as Wendy and other characters. On returning to the UK Elizabeth choreographed the show for the British public. Elizabeth has also worked on Thomson cruise ships such as The Celebration and The Majesty. Elizabeth has also performed in pantomimes around the UK mainly at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry with Imagine Theatre. Elizabeth has also enjoyed dancing and touring with the circus, touring round the UK with Haven Holiday Parks, working with the Vegas showgirls in the UK and working on Lady Godiva in Coventry.
