Academy No1 Dance Company specialises in Ballroom, Latin, Tango, Salsa, Jive , Swing and now FitSteps (the latest Dance Fitness phenomonen sweeping the country).

Emma Pettitt, who founded Academy No1 in 2012, has been teaching dance, competing, performing and choreographing dance routines for both individuals and teams (to competition level) over the last 20 years bringing her love for dance to all with her enthusiasm and energy.

Academy No1, offers regular weekly dance classes, weekend workshops, monthly sequence dance classes, social events, dance parties, private tuition, corporate entertainment and bespoke choreography for wedding dances plus other special occasions.

Emma’s classes are held in a relaxed environment, with the support of an amazing team of friendly assistants who between them come with a wealth of dance knowledge in some or all of the dance genres, so both adults and children alike of all abilities will Experience Fun, Dance and Fitness !
