StarStruck has been teaching children and teenagers in Solihull, Warwickshire, Redditch and Studley since 2003. With a team of highly qualified, DBS checked and first aid trained instructors all performers have the opportunity to shine on stage in Annual shows, take IDTA Examinations and perform at local events. StarStruck can also be found in local schools offering after school clubs and workshops. StarStruck gives all students the chance to audition for West End performances.

- Katie CooperPrincipal
Katie loved performing from an early age, attending Freestyle medal lessons and competitions. She later achieved her BA Honours in Theatre and Acting for Broadcast Media before qualifying at Associate level with the IDTA. In addition to these qualifications Katie has a specialist Directing qualification from Central School, Birmingham and has worked in Television. She has also lectured for the IDTA and hopes to encourage and inspire all her students.
Jennie HuttonTeacherTrained in house, Jennie is an essential part of the StarStruck Team. Her love of dance and performance began at the age of 11 achieving Honours in all her IDTA Freestyle Examinations. Jennie joined StarStruck in 2004 and was cast as the main role in Sleeping Beauty. She has danced at Her Majesty's Theatre, Sadlers Wells and The Royal Albert Hall and has competed in many Freestyle Championships including Blackpool.
Jennie later gained her Professional IDTA Dance Teacher Qualification at Associate level and BA Honours Performing Arts Dance Degree. She trains students in Musical Theatre and Dance in addition to choreographing teams for high profile London, Birmingham and International stages.Hollie JonesTeacherHollie has danced since the age of three, working her way through the IDTA syllabus practicing, Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Freestyle and Musical Theatre. At the age of 16 Hollie completed a two year BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts at Stratford College, graduating with a distinction. With the support of Ian Meeson, (Co- founder of the IDTA Musial Theatre Syllabus) she then went on to gain her Pre-Associate One and Two and Associate in Modern Jazz, achieving 94% followed by her Pre-Associate One and Two in Tap, in which she was rewarded 90% and 92%.
Hollie has taught Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, and Musical Theatre since September 2007 choreographing for multiple dance shows each year and teaches regular after school dance classes. In addition to her teaching she has had many acting and dancing jobs, these include; touring dancer in the children's show, 'spooky mansion', the titled role of 'Titch' in 'Titch the witch' and the role of 'Lion' in Circus Circus for a 12 week running production. Hollie has played 'Cinderella' in the title pantomime and has assisted and danced with TV and Radio star Joanne Malin in a televised campaign to get people dancing for the radio station BBC WM.
Hollie has also danced and performed for Psycho Management where performances have involved 3 years in the Lady Gaga tribute ' Maybe Gaga' plus performing and supporting alongside artists such as, Tinie Tempah, Florence Welsh (Florence and the Machine), Mr Hudson, Seb Fontaine, Artful dodger and ExampleRuby BaigentTeacherRuby has been dancing since the age of 2. She trained at the prestigious Pattison College of Theatre Arts and was successful in gaining a scholarship to take her IDTA Associate teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Freestyle and Modern Jazz, achieving top marks (Distinction) in all 4 genres; therefore allowing her to teach professionally. In addition to dancing Ruby has also completed many singing, musical theatre, speech and drama examinations.
Ruby has performed on various stages including the Birmingham NEC, Disneyland Paris, the Symphony Hall, Birmingham and west end stages including Her Majesty's Theatre and the Royal Albert Hall. Ruby has also danced at Pineapple Dance Studios and appeared in numerous cabarets, flash mobs and carnivals.
Since leaving performing arts college in 2013 Ruby has gained her IDTA Gymnastic Dance and Musical Theatre Diplomas and is currently studying towards more advanced gymnastic coaching. -
