Our school, established by Hazel Cleaver, over 50 years ago, has always been very successful throughout dane competitions and examination work.
We ensure that the students all work to a high standard and that they take International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) examinations when they are ready to gain the highest marks possible. Students are also able to compete in dance festivals throughout the UK. We run two festivals a year at our venue in Balsall Heath/Moseley area so our students do not always have to travel far to attend these festivals.
The students at Hazelle Stage School are all part of a friendly dance school, classes are aimed to be kept at around 15 students per class, so that all students can receive individual attention in order for them to achieve their best results when dancing.
Private lessons are also available at the school for extra examination practice or for festival preparation.
Solos, duets, trios, quartets and troupes are entered into festivals so students can dance as part of a group or as an individual depending upon which style and structure they enjoy.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us, we are highly experienced, with many years of training. Additionally, we can also accomodate dancers with special educational needs.
