- Pauline BryanDance Teacher and Principal of Step In Time School of Dance
Pauline has been teaching dance for the past 40 years and has been teaching dance at Hodge Hill primary school for 20 years. Pauline is qualified in Latin American, Rock and Roll and the General Dance Programme with IDTA. Pauline studied all areas of dance from an early age and has a 100% pupil pass rate with the IDTA. She trains pupils to become dance teachers and all trainee teachers have achieved over 86% in their teaching exams.
Laura EllisDance Teacher and Principal of Upstage Theatre, TyseleyLaura began her training at Joyce Pearman Dance Studios. Laura has trained in all areas of dance and is a qualified dance teacher with the IDTA. She achieved Honours in her Freestyle Associate exam and Grade 6 Musical Theatre (LCMM) and has had vocal training for many years. Laura regularly performs in musicals and concerts, her theatre credits include; Wallop Mrs Cox, Ridin' the No.8, Guys and Dolls, A Brummie Christmas, Summer Holiday, West Side Story, Me and My Girl, 42nd Street, Throughly Modern Millie, Copocabana, Boogie Nights and Fame. Laura has appeared on Television in Doctors (BBC1) and Ballet changed My Life - Ballet Hoo! (Channel 4) Laura has modelled for Studio Freestyle and performed as a soloist in the opening ceremony of the Birmingham Town Hall. Laura is also a choreographer and has worked for Stagecoach, Birmingham School of Acting, BMOS, Birmingham City University and the Birmingham Hippodrome as Assistant Choreographer and Dance Captain 'Wallop Mrs Cox 2010.'
Jennie O'TooleDance Teacher and Principal of Upstage Theatre BromfordJennie began her dance training at the age of 5 at Step in Time school of Dance. She has danced for the past 18 years and became a qualified teacher with the I.D.T.A specialising in Freestyle. Jennie has performed in 'Guys and Dolls' (Alexandra Theatre), 'Fame' (Alexandra Theatre), Summer Holiday (Alexandra Theatre), West Side Story (Alexandra Theatre) and Copacabana (Alexandra Theatre.) Jennie has studied in many areas of dance including Latin American, Street, Freestyle, Line Dance, and Ballroom.
