Donna Claire School of Dance is a fun and friendly environment in which children and adults can learn a selection of dance disciplines. Working towards our annual showcase is always an exciting time for our students, but this is just one of the many events we participate in a year.
Our non competitive attitude allows our students the opportunity to learn dance in a relaxed and fun environment. No Records Found

- Donna MoorhousePrincipal, Dance Teacher
Miss Donna started dancing at the age of 3, attending the Clare Doosey School of Dance in Huddersfield she quickly realised her passion for the art. Over the years dancing and performing became a big part of Miss Donna's life, winning competitions, taking exams and performing in pantomimes and shows on both an amateur and professional level.
At the age of 12 Miss Donna attended Intake High School of Performing Arts in Leeds which was the breeding ground for the likes of Mel B, Angela Griffin and Natalie Anderson. Aswell as her desire for dance Miss Donna had always enjoyed singing and acting and this was something she was able to develop whilst at Intake.
In 2000 Miss Donna graduated from Intake and immediately started working as a children’s entertainer at a holiday park in Cornwall. As the season came to an end Miss Donna successfully auditioned for a job working for Airtours at a large sun centre holiday venue in Majorca. Over the next 9 months Miss Donna spent her time in her element performing for thousands of holiday makers from all around the world. As with all good things the season came to end in October 2001 and it was Miss Donnas decision at this point not return to the resort the following season but in fact to pursue her career as she had always seen it, opening her own dancing school and teaching what she had always loved to do!!
