Danceology was established in 2004 by Principals Sally Barton and Kay Hogg. The school prides itself on professional standards and high quality teaching in a friendly and welcoming environment. Over 300 pupils are trained from nursery age right through to degree level and many of these pupils have been with us from the start which is testament to our success and commitment to continued improvement.
Our teachers have taught in a wide range of settings, delivering dance to people of all ages and abilities. Danceology appreciates that most children enjoy dance as a hobby and we are proud to offer an all-inclusive dance environment. Those who wish to perform professionally are given individual coaching and guidance before progressing to full time training. Those pupils wishing to pursue a teaching career are offered work experience and mentoring and can train with one of the Principals to achieve their teaching qualifications.
Danceology Studios are fully equipped to offer the best possible environment for learning to dance and include mirrors, barres, specialist Harlequin dance flooring, changing facilities and a dance wear shop.
IDTA examination sessions are held at least twice a year and our Annual Showcase is held every July giving all pupils the opportunity to perform on stage in a fully costumed production. There are several other performance opportunities throughout the year including festivals, competitions, galas and charity events.
Since its creation, Danceology has quickly developed an excellent reputation for offering quality dance tuition and is proud to be
‘dedicated to dance’.No Records Found
