The Attitude Dance Studios offers a wide range of classes to students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced levels, as well as vocational training.
Whether students want to dance for a hobby or competitively, we have something to offer that is fun, inclusive and social. We hold classes at a number of locations across rural Worcestershire, in villages such as Martley & Abberley.
Throughout the year, we provide IDTA exam sessions in Ballet, Modern Jazz, Acrobatics and Street Dance, and stage an annual show each summer.

- Kara Soper (BA Hons, PGCE PCET, IDTA)Principal
Kara is an experienced dance and fully qualified teacher. Her background in dance started at an early age and consists of Tap, Ballet, Modern, Irish Dance (Light and Heavy Shoe), Acrobatics, Gymnastics, Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary and Street Dance.
Kara's qualification include a BA Honours Degree in Contemporary Dance in 2015, graduating from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, the UK's leading contemporary school. Kara is also an Associate of IDTA and was awarded at Distinction level, as well as IDTA Level 4 Diploma in dance teaching specialising in ballet (Theatre Branch). Furthermore Kara attended Birmingham City University to gain a Post Graduate Degree - PGCE PCET, specialising in dance, and is qualified to teach in the post-compulsory education and training sector.
In her past performances Kara auditioned and was selected to perform on "Dance Rebels: A Story of Modern Dance" that was aired on the BBC in December 2015. She was also invited to perform at the Nightingale Theatre (Brighton) as part of BEHOLD festival to mark the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Concentration Camp.
BEHOLD: Under the influence, presented by Nicki Jackowska, in which Kara performed "Die grunen clowns" ("The Green Clowns") a historical piece originally choreographed by Rudolf Von Laban in 1928; one of the founders of Contemporary Dance, recreated by Ali Curtis-Jones and original performer Valerie Preston Dunlop; Honourary Fellow of Trinity Laban Conservative of Music and Dance.
Some other performance highlights of Kara's include working with Wayne McGregor's Company members to recreate "Entity" performed in the Bonnie Bird Theatre in front of Wayne McGregor himself. Kara was also selected to perform at the LG Arena to support Diversity, the past winners of Britain's Got Talent.
Tammy Banks (BA Hons, MMAG, MAAD)TeacherTammy started dancing at age 8 with The Gwynn School of Dance and has performed in many theatres across the country including the London Coliseum and competed in National competitions. She has studied with the Association of American Dancing (AAD) and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISDT) before studying Dance at Wolverhampton University.
Tammy has been an active member of Brierly Hill Operatics Society (now musical theatre company) being involved in their annual productions and pantomimes.
For the last 14 years Tammy has been principal of her own Dance company producing and choreographing many of her own shows for charity and local events. She is passionate about providing opportunities for all ages and abilities who want to pursue dance.
As well as teaching Dance Tammy is also a qualified Zumba and Boogie Bounce instructor.
Daryl CurtisTeacherDaryl Curtis AKA The Jestar - has been dancing since 2008. He began dancing in the youth centre SYPC (Slough Young People's Centre). During his time there Daryl performed at many events that SYPC organised, as well as attending regular dance classes at the youth centre, all whilst at college studying art and design.
Following his passion for dance he then went on to graduate from Creative Academy with a BA Hons degree in Dance. Whilst studying at Creative Academy, his training included ballet, jazz, tap, modern and the contemporary styles Cunningham, Graham and release all of which helped build a varied and eclectic repertoire of movement qualities to build on his funk-style base. Further pursuing his quest for knowledge, he attended Urban Dance Camp in Lörrach, Germany, where he was able to learn from some of best Choreographers/Freestylers in the world, such as Marty Kudelka, Lando Wilkins, Mr Wiggles and Salah.
His credits include working with PepsiCo and JDsports, performing at Breakin Convention, and
boasts top 8 in the UK for popping, achieved competing at Juste Debout 2014. -
