Let's Dance

At Let’s Dance Bishopthorpe, Copmanthorpe and Acomb, York, we aim for students aged 3 upwards to learn discipline, self-confidence, coordination, and strength through dance. Most important is for everyone to enjoy the freedom and the joy of dance.

For students starting at 3 Ballet is the ideal starter for this age. We start with Pre Primary ballet, which encourages coordination, musiclity and imagination.Students taking ballet can take RAD Examinations from Pre Primary to Grade 8 and Vocational Exams.

TAP IS GREAT FOR CHILDREN Age 5 + and encourages Rhythm. We also offer Jazz from age 5 + dancing to the latest chart music and is good for flexibility and confidence.

Children have chance to take RAD Ballet Exams, IDTA Tap Exams, take part in Bi-annual shows at York Grand Opera House. And also take part in auditions, workshops, Summer Schools, and concerts. Let’s Dance Students have appeared in both York Pantomimes.
