Centre Pointe Dance Studio (CPDS) is focused on the development of sound technique through classical training and offers classes in various genres.
Bases in the beautiful Cayman Islands CPDS holds yearly examinations with the IDTA as well as LAMDA and International Dance Acclaim Performance Awards. These yearly events work well to provide a well-rounded training for these islands dancers. The lessons and disciplines taught at CPDS are meant not only to create excellence in the arts but may also be applied to the daily lives of its students where students are encouraged to strive for excellence in all they do. Ms. Anita holds a BA (Hons) in Professional Dance
Development; she is a Licentiate of the International Dance
Teachers Association (Bt); holds an IDTA Dance Exercise
Diploma; is a Licensed Melody Bear Teacher and is also a
RAD Mutually Recognized Teacher. Ms. Anita has been
teaching for the last 33yrs twenty-three of these have been in
the Cayman Islands.Sophie GoughSenior Teacher/ChoreographerMs. Sophie is a Graduate of The Centre Performing Arts
College. She holds Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing
Diplomas in Dance Instruction in both Modern & Ballet
Branch; IDTA Associate in Freestyle Dance. Ms. Sophie is
also a qualified Zumba Instructor & Qualified Street Fit
Instructor. Ms. Sophie has performed in Dance Proms 2011 at
The Royal Albert Hall, Move It 2011/2012 at Olympia
Stadium and performed in the BBC 1 documentary "The
