All Classes are structured by age and ability and are taught by fully qualified teachers of the IDTA. Our aim is to provide an environment where technique is taught to achieve a pupils full potential in a fun and stimulating environment. We produce exceptional standards of teaching and produce confident and expressive dancers in all dance forms.
Pupils will undertake regular IDTA examinations and develop their performance skills through shows and performances.
We hold an annual show at CAST, in Doncaster, to show case pupils talents and achievements.
IDTA and ADFP competitions are on offer to pupils who wish to take this route along with local dance festivals. Competitions are held throughout the year and give pupils the chance to compete against other dancers in the area.
Professional training to become qualified IDTA dance teachers is also on offer for those wishing to pursue a teaching career.

- Jemma GamblePrincipal
Jemma started dancing at the Marilyn Yeardley School of Dance, studying Freestyle, Tap, Modern Jazz, Ballet and TheatreCraft. During her career she performed at the Civic Theatre Doncaster, a National UK tour and as a cheerleader for Doncaster Belles football team. In May 2000 she achieved Honours in her Associate Freestyle exam enabling her to set up Reach for the Stars. Since the school started it has produced sell out shows at the Phoenix Theatre, Bawtry, the Hayfield School and at the Civic Theatre, Doncaster where Jemma started her performing career. Jemma continues to learn all she can to give the best to all her pupils and is now an Aerobics instructor, gaining her RSA Exercise to Music qualification through the YMCA and since February 2005 Jemma has been working with DMBC’s Active Recreation Service, Street Sports and Get Active delivering Dance and Cheerleading sessions in Doncaster schools.
Jasmine GambleTeacherJasmine started dancing at 18 months, performing all over the UK in shows at the Manchester Opera House as a soloist, Stockport Plaza in Juxtaposed's production of Movies in Motion, Grimsby Auditorium in Bill Kenwrights production of Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat, Oklahoma at Grimsby Auditorium, Doncaster Civic Theatre in The Wizard of Oz and The King and I and Newark Theatre in a Carpenters Tribute. Jasmine was recently one of our pupils to dance at Her Majesty's Theatre, London. Jasmine received top marks for her singing exams in Pop Vocal and Musical Theatre. With her Street Dance partner she got through to the finals of the IDTA Nationwide Street Dance Competitions in 2010. Jasmine teaches classes in Freestyle and Gymnastics. She is currently studying Dance and Musical Theatre at Phil Winston's Theatreworks.
Jasmine passed her Pre-Associate and Associate in Freestyle and is studying with Miss Jemma for her Pre-Associate Modern Jazz.Natalea RuddTeacherNatalea has been with Reach for the Stars since 2006 and studies Modern Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Freestyle and Gymnastic Dance . Natalea has received top marks for all examinations taken with Reach for the Stars and performs in all shows, performances and galas. Natalea was recently one of the pupils who danced at Her Majesty's Theatre, London.
Natalea is very bright and positive pupil, never forgetting a routine or amalgamation.
Natalea is a very flexible dancer and helps other pupils with this aspect of dance. Natalea teaches a variety of classes, specialising in Freestyle and Gymnastics.
