    Dance Teacher

    Hannah works for Active Lives Education in a variety of roles. These include working in schools as a dance teacher and gymnastics coach. She also leads Active Lives Stage Stars performing arts holiday camps in Stafford which includes dance, drama and singing. Hannah is also Principle for The Dance Academy in Stafford.
    Hannah started dancing at the age of 3, attending Bojangles Dance School in Lichfield taking grades in Ballet and Modern Jazz up to Grade 6, she then achieved her Intermediate Ballet exam at DanceTek School of Dance in Derby developing a true passion for dance.
    Hannah has passed the BTEC Extended National Diploma in Dance studying at Burton and South Derbyshire College then going on to study a Foundation Degree in Dance and Theatre Arts at Staffordshire University.
    Hannah has had the privilege to perform at the Royal Albert Hall, London Excel and Move It, along with various other dance shows and flash mobs.
    Hannah started teaching dance whilst studying at university on work experience, and has now been teaching dance for 5 years. During her time as a dance teacher she has gained a distinction in her Ballet Teacher Examinations and is now working towards furthering her qualification. She has gained experience with choreography and teaching different dance styles such as :ballet, tap, modern, lyrical contemporary, commercial, jazz, street, gymnastics and pointe.
    Hannah is also a qualified Gymnastics Coach for primary age. She is DBS checked and holds a First Aid qualification.

    April Bourke
    Dance Teacher

    April-Louise is one of Active Lives Educations dance teachers. April-Louise supports a number of schools with dance and drama provision. In addition, April also delivers is part of the teaching staff on our Stage Stars Holiday Camps.
    April-Louise graduated from The Northern School of Contemporary Dance with a First Class Honours. Since graduating she did a UK Graduate Company tour and worked with some sensational choreographers such as Filip Van Huffel and Gary Clarke.
    April-Louise is an enthusiastic, highly motivated dance teacher who thrives off sharing her passion for dance and building happy, healthy individuals. Graduating from The Northern School of Contemporary Dance has given April-Louise a strong and confident foundation to nurture creativity, technique and performance to a generation which needs more involvement of the arts. April-Louise has been sharing her passion for dance in the community and schools for ten years, delivering and developing the dance classes in primary schools; and teaching a variety of styles and techniques.
    April enjoys watching the children develop and grow into artists inspirational to watch and work with. April has taught contemporary, street dance, theatre and ballet for many years and many children have moved onto successfully gaining an agent and performing at large and small-scale productions.
    April has performed and choreographed performances at The Royal Albert Hall and at Wembley Stadium.
