Open Space offers a wide variety of dance styles.
Students can come for fun or for the more serious dancer IDTA examinations are available.
Our annual show is held at Roedean Theatre Brighton
We also hold a number of workshops each year both within the school or with professionals in the industry.
Open Space has a wonderful family feel to it. It is about the development of the individual.

Miss Trey J Fry

Principal

Trey has been a qualified teacher with the IDTA for 29 years.
She has also obtained a degree in Dance and Child Pysycology at Roehampton University.
Trey has taught Ballet History at the Northern Ballet School in Manchester and was concurrently teaching GCSE dance in Manchester.
Trey opened up Open Space when she moved to Brighton 17 years ago.

Ellie Bishop -Williams

Street/Contemporary

Ellie is currently working with a Brighton based Street Crew and has achieved A Level Dance in Contemporary.
She has been with Open Space since it began in 2000.

Abby Standing

Jazz/Assistant Teacher

Abby is currently pursuing a career in the World of Tap. She works closely with Jamie Spall, who is top of the Rhythm industry in this Country.
Abby has been with Open Space for 13 years.

Jamie Spall

Rhythm Tap

Jamie has worked and trained all over the world with some of the best in the business. She is currently holding Rhythm Tap classes at Open Space.
Jamie also choreograph's for the Summer show and Open Space student's have participated in her show "Tap Addiction".
