Theatreworks College exists to provide an all round solid training for the potential talent of the future.
Based in Blackpool, the show business capital of the North, Theatreworks College stands overlooking the sea with seven purpose built studios, music room and its own studio theatre. Students enjoy spacious areas and their own greenroom with impressive views for relaxation and study periods. The college is a secure environment with access only being gained through fingerprint recognition at the main entrance.
It’s course of training is quite unique in that all classes are timetabled intensively over a three day period. This has proven to be very advantageous as the students experience life away from home for half the week whilst having the stability of family and friends the other half. The process is also affordable as the students are encouraged to attain part-time work, so contributing to their funding. This ensures full appreciation and application.
In training our students the highly dedicated and qualified team of professionals who make up the Teaching Faculty at Theatreworks College continually strive to find each skill every student has to offer and develop these skills to their fullest potential….the art to perform.
As a well established College Theatreworks students often have the opportunity to perform at prestigious events locally and Nationally from which they gain valuable experience enhancing their training.

A principal dancer and soloist on Spanish Television's Entre Amigos, she worked with Shirley Bassey, Latoya Jackson, Donna Summer and Sacha Distel, to name but a few. Recognising her unique ability to marry British discipline with Latin flair, she first moved into choreography with shows such as January River at the Theatre Calderon Madrid and an extravaganza at the Spanish Lido. Her thirst for travel led her to join the Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line as Principal Dancer and Rehearsal Director, returning to England to teach at Phil Winston's Theatreworks’ and extend her choreographic repertoire.Lou FrancksVocal Technique
