Trained at Grandison College, Croydon and Pattisons Dancing Academy, Coventry, I hold teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Theatrecraft, Modern Jazz, Ballroom, Gymnastic Dance, Dance Exercise, LISTD National & LAMDA Speech and Acting. After a Teacher training course at Pattisons and performing professionally in cabaret & pantomimes I was asked to join the staff teaching for 12 years before starting my own school in Kenilworth in 1989. I have led Ballroom & Latin courses at Community Colleges, coached at Coventry Olympic and Rhythmic Gymnastic clubs, choreographed Coventry & Kenilworth Gang shows and pantomimes for local Musical Societies. I now teach dance classes in at schools in Warwickshire and Coventry for 'Sainsbury's Active’ and recently began teaching Creative exercise and Tea dances in care homes for the elderly. I find it very rewarding to help those with physical disabilities and dementia. I am proud to be a life member of the IDTA and look forward to teaching for many more years!Lauren PidgeonTeacher
