One Way K DanceLab offers classes that focus on building confidence in children, learning dance skills in an engaging and fun environment. All children are given the same opportunities of learning dance from beginner through to advanced dancers. The school takes part in IDTA examinations, competitions, shows and festivals throughout the UK. Trained by a UK Freestyle & Rock n Roll champion, Miss Katie Mansell.

Katie is a Level 4 IDTA qualified teacher, DBS checked and fully first aid trained. Katie has been dancing since the age of 2 years in many styles of dance and it has always been her dream to have her own dance school and give children the opportunities they deserve in dance, just as she had when she was a dancer in training. Katie has achieved so much in dance; a degree in dance, completion of IDTA examinations in Freestyle & Rock n Roll in which you receive an award for, National finals in Solo, Pairs and Rock n Roll. Katie danced as part of a Freestyle team for over 10 years and has competed at the IDTA scholarships in 2016 in which she placed within the top 10 in the UK.
Katie has been teaching for several years in dance studios and in educational settings for children of all ages. She is committed to completing her IDTA teaching qualifications at fellowship and licentiate levels in Freestyle and Rock n Roll to become and examiner and adjudicator also.
